Years later... Just remembered about this blog.
Didn't seem to work out very well, did it, Nan?

This is the end of this blog...

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months."
 - Oscar Wilde

PS. My 'fashion draping' article is still being edited over and over again. Now I'm thinking if I should make this blog a little less detailed. It's so fucking difficult to type everything out! :(

FOR STARTERS
20:08, Wednesday, January 28, 2009

Alright. I shall start with the main purposes/reasons of this blog.

1. To remember my fashion designing path from the very beginning. (also to say, for my personal pleasure)
2. It might be of some help to those who always wanted to learn but didn't know where to start (or for some, unable to afford to go to fashion designing schools)

For the first reason, it's just basically saying that I'll be posting what I'm learning in school (as often as I can) in details, just for my own references.
Just in case 15years from now I'd like to know where I began or what I've learnt.

***Thus, for those who are very familiar with all the things I'm going to talk about here, you do NOT have to criticize or tell or show the world in any way of how smart you are.
Please kindly note this very important point and just fuck off.

If anyone else finds what I'm blogging useful, you can just leave a nice comment to show your support. :)

For the second reason, it's simply because I, for one, have always wanted to make my own clothes and shoes. I didn't put much thoughts in it until my 2nd year of university (I was doing Business) when I decided that I should do what I love to do instead of what I'm expected to do.

Fashion design schools, however, are much more expensive.
But I managed, somehow. When there's a will, there'll always be a way. :)
So, I'm guessing there might be some people who didn't manage to go to fashion design schools out there somewhere.

I hope you can learn something out of this blog.

With Love,
Nan
